Default Holsters

Several years ago I bought a couple of the Galco Miami Vice shoulder holsters. Wore one for a while and it felt good but then had to change to a side holster.

Now several years later, it is back to the shoulder holster, same holster but different gun (both 1911).

I sort of improvised a method of storing unused holsters so this one has been hanging on a wall for a lot of years. Still soft but I wonder if I should oil it or put some type leather treatment on it.

Anyone have an opinion on this?

I was going to ask if you had tried S&W clear leather wax. It seems to soften leather. I understand that Neasfoot Oil is not the ticket.
S&W polish is made with carnauba wax.
