Holster help????Please
I recently came upon a kahr K40 SS. Anybody know who makes a holster for the Kahrs in general...Believe it or not this little SS shoots like a revolver and seems fool proof. I know in the beginning they had problems, seems like they have been worked out....I have a Kahr SS40 elite 98 and need a small ccw holster, right hand...any help will be appreciated...thanks

I think our gun leather guys should take notice of this thread. its a fairly common problem in CCW.
since its a fairly new / revived market, pistol design is progressive while holster design seems to cling to old standards like your Glocks, 1911's J frames, k frames L frames and other tried and true profiles.
if one were to cater to the new breed like the Kahr line, Ruger LCP LCR and other new CCW oriented developments, a holster guy could really launch something since competition seems rather low in the general market for these mini mites.
there are more holes in the market than this.
Im still looking for a solution for a scoped 8 3/8" N frame that works better than my coat sleeve

I agree on your views on your Kahr. I've got a PM9, and a P380 that I carry all the time. They have great triggers, good sights, are very accurate, go bang every time, and are the smallest for their caliber; what else could you want...? I also have a CW45 that I keep around as one of my house guns.
As for Kahr holsters, try their website, I got one there. I also have a kydex IWB made by, I believe, 'Grandfather Oak,' in NC. Good holster, and good price. I found a nice leather IWB holster for the P380, that was made by a small shop (can't remember the name). I got a nice pocket holster for the PM9 that is made by Galco. You just need to check around/Google your model and "holster," and you should come up with some hits for that gun. There are so many makers, you'll be surprised with what you find. You can also contact a manufacturer, and ask them if they can make something up for you, if they don't list your model.
Hope this helps.

Thanks I will try your suggestions....Generally I'm up on holster makers but as they seem so busy with all the new models it is tough to get a commitment from the better know....understandable with all the new models.

Go to Kahr's website; they have several holster options for each of their guns.
They are not junk either, Mitch Rosen production models and Galco Miami Classics

I've had a PM40 for about a year. It's one of my main summer guns in a Kramer Confidant shirt holster. I love that thing, you can wear it with a polo or a button up shirt, just leave the top two buttons unbuttoned. Spare mag goes on the other side.
All the suggestions already made are good, but one other option, although it's one you should only use until you get a holster specifically for the Kahr: I found any holster made for my .40 caliber Glocks is an almost perfect fit for the Kahr. It's just a slight bit looser, but especially for IWB carry, it works very well. I don't normally recommend using a holster that is not fitted to a specific model gun, but this is a viable option until you get the correct one.

If you are willing to go kydex, Crossbreed holster makes a nice IWB holster. It is tuckable, and with J clips issn't very noticable even with a tucked shirt. I use one with my PM9.
