Need help with a holster
I have a holster that is for an N frame revolver, but the guns fit rather loosely in it. Can I soak the holster, which is lined, in water to shrink it, or would that ruin it completely? I don't know what else to do.

Can you post a photo? I might be able to offer some advice depending upon the type of holster, it's construction and where precisely it is loose. Does it have any retention features such as a river strap, thumb break or tension screw?

I would call the original maker and see if he is willing to re size and adjust it. I had this problem with a Milt Sparks Holster once, and they were very accommodating. It was returned to me with a perfect fit.

I called the company and spoke with a very nice lady named Tina in Customer Service. She stated that the holster was discontinued about 15 years ago, and was made for a Sig 220 or a 226. As I do have a 226, I will use it for that.

Yes it does appear to be for an auto. Glad you didn't do anything drastic.
