Grrrrr. New holster is all wrong!!
Ok, so during the labor day sale, I ordered a new holster for my 627-5. I specified the make and model, that the trigger guard was to be enclosed and that I wanted it lined.
And this....is what I got!!! AAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!

Well, if it is not want you want, see if you can send it back and exchange it. Nice lookin' holster, BTW, but I understand your point of view about wanting the trigger guard covered.

Yeah, it's nice. Could probably fit an L frame in there pretty comfortably. I contacted them but alas, no response yet.

I would be mad too, it looks horrible. There must have been a mix up looks like it's for a snub not for a long barrel. Who would want the barrel sticking out? Send them a pic so they can see whats going on. Where did you get it from so we know who not to order from. Looks like one more for the holster bin.

I got it from Texas Shoemaker & Sons. I have a couple of duty holsters and similar gear from them and have always been pleased. We'll see if they make it right.

Man, sorry you got the wrong holster... probably a mix up at the factory. I hope they make it right for you.

I am sure it will be rectified soon. I have a holster on order with Lobogunleather and Bell Charter Oak Holsters. Both of them are forum members, both vets and both cops. They both have fair prices and quality crafted holsters.
A win, win, win situation for me.

They'll make it right, no doubt. I really like Ray's(Lobo) holsters, he's never disappointed me in 6 tries.

Hmmm, what religion is 'livid'?
Oh - back to the Lobo Leather work - it is super. Here is my 'short barrel' pancake OWB holster - one of my 2 5/8" PC627's in the holster while my other one is along side. To be blunt - this is about as inexpensive as you can get. With shipping - and perhaps a 'Happy Meal', you'd still have half a C-note left. Pretty decent work - as good as some I have seen at 2-3 times the cost. My wait was a few weeks - not bad! Great fit.
Do get something better than a $10 Wally World leather belt!

Another vote for LOBO. I have 3 of them now, and the next time I need one it will be a LOBO.
