Holster Making. Sometimes It's Pretty Scary.
I was asked to make a holster for a 2 1/2" Colt Diamondback, left hand. All I have access to is my 2" Cobra. The customer asked me later if it wasn't too late could I put a belt clip on it instead. I've never done that but had a salvaged Bianchi IWB clip that was super strong so I gave it a shot. Here's the end result except the tooled detachable safety strap which I made later. That 1/2" barrel difference and the heavy Diamondback barrel means I won't know if the holster fits until he tries it out. I haven't messed up yet but it's pretty terrifying making holsters blindly like this. I shipped it today and will find out soon. Fingers crossed!

Scary at times I'm sure, but rewarding nonetheless. Great job.

Doesn't sound scary to me at all. Sounds like you've got a great excuse to pull a huge amount of money out of savings and head to the nearest gun show. Clearly you need more guns, if only to use as forms for your leatherworking. I'm going to guess you really need a few dozen more guns right away. Its a terrible burden, but not really all that unpleasant.

I will show your post to my wife and head to the bank! And Perrazi, I did account for the rib, sight, and lug. I just hope I did enough.

Beautiful! I've always preferred belt clips.
