I found this holster on eBay the other day. With no bids and a price of $8 shipped, I figured it was worth a gamble. Got it home, cleaned it up and was pleased to find it fits a 2" K-frame perfectly. I've done some research online and there's not much out there about this maker but apparently Stein was located in Brooklyn, New York and went out of business in the early '70s. The late Lou Alessi, on another forum years ago, complimented the company for their "very innovative designs".
This one I've found is interesting in that it can serve as either an inside-the-waistband rig or as a belt holster worn outside on the hip. Also of note is the two-tone color scheme, with the main holster an oxblood color and the trim in black. All metal on the holster is brass. All in all, a nice piece that appears to be well-constructed.
Pardon the poor photos but it's dark and raining outside and I had to make due with indoor lighting.
