My first fancy holster!
When I posted last week that I had bought a Colt DS, LawandOrder sent me a PM and asked for my address....I've been anxiously wondering what he was sending me for the last three days and this came in the mail today! Now I have a fancy new home for the soon to be mine Colt...thanks Tony!!!

Wow. Very nice. You can wear that with pride both for the quality of the holster and how you got it.
A tip of the ol Stetson to Law and Order. Well done Sir.

Sounds like Sip is at the tail end of his ten day "cooling off" period where he had to pay the state to check him out first. See, out here you're guilty 'till proven innocent, and it costs you about $25 to pay them to prove it.
oh, forgot. That's a great little classic holster!

Wyatt, I think I know what game he's playing. Got the "Honey I had this wonderful holster given to me, now I need a gun to fit it." Well played Sip, let us know if the wife approves your new purchase

Nice holster. Nothing wrong with a Colt. An old man told me one time that when you see the horse rear up you know you are right. Larry

Well, that settles it. Now you need a set of Grashorn stags for sure. And a Tyler T.

Actually, I haven't even started it yet...Kerry is shipping the gun this week while I'm in NZ...so I can't sign for it until January...then I have to wait 10 days...by then, the gun will have $200 more collector value!
BTW, Law and Order and I agreed that my 3rd gen Colt will ride in my more modern concealment rigs and this beauty will be the home for my dad's classic style '69 when it becomes mine...again, hopefully not for a long time...but in the meantime I can ogle my pretty new Tio Sam Myers holster...
Check out the history....

Congrats on that fine holster and kudos to the equally fine and generous fellow who gifted it to you. I have also been the recipient of Tony's generosity. Great guy!

Very nice of you Tony aka Law & Order!
And no surprize . . . typical of the generosity to be found amongst the membership here on the S&W Forum.

I just bought two Colt Detective Specials. What's this guy's address so I can get two holster's?
Or is there some kind of secret code word?
Nice holster. I bought an older Bianchi for my 2 inch DS.
