My first gun belt.
For myself. My only complaint with the belt is the buckle, all I had on hand but it doesn't really suit my every day dress This is also a new style of pancake, I left the edges rough as I cut it too close and busted the threads out the edge on side. It rides nice and tight against the body.
And my first mag pouch, a pretty trio:

Good work. Hand sewing a belt is a true test of one's patience.

That's why I've never lined a belt.
Very nice Eaglestroker.

Greg, I'd be lying if I said it was hand sewn. If it makes you feel any better it was a test of my patience even on the Boss, I think I've got tennis elbow. I was originally thinking of sewing it twice around

I've had CCP since 1997 and have always carried very nice pistols as a matter of pride but never spent the money on a nice gun belt until about a year ago. Man what difference in comfort a nice belt makes . Its worth every penny and being a fat man I use to replace my belts every six months or so heck this belt is hardly even showing any wear I probably make up cost difference in not wearing one out every six months. You have done some very nice work you should be proud I wish I had that kinda patience

Thank you. A good belt is really key and will last you more than a few years.

You saddle stitched these?
Saddle stitching is still stronger than machine stitching as the stress is against the leather rather than thread against thread.
Nice work.

Lee, it's mine all mine and I'm wearing it right now 45" front to center to answer your question.
If you want one let me know, I'd need to check my hide to see if I could get two blanks your size out of it! It'd fit in the box I'd fed ex it in, just means less packing peanuts for me!

Robert,
Very nice work. Only fitting that an artist of this caliber make his first belt for himself. And speaking of fitting mine will be here next week (I believe the second one). Robert has done some great holster work in the last little while. I pictured one on a 686 thread that I got from him a month or two back. Great work Robert.
Regards
Bill

Bill,
Thank you for your kind words. My grandfather told me when I first started 'After the first, everything else is a copy.' Anytime I make a first good or bad it is staying with me. Yours will in fact be the second completed, there were a few more 'mess ups' in the design stages. I'll add a teaser for you as well
-Robert

I wish I could lace, your stuff is top notch. The basket weave is methodical and linear, no way no how can I work a swivel knife (I've tried). These are both topics I hope to come back to in the future.
So see, you already are ahead of my curve LOL. Thanks for the compliments as well.

Maybe that's my problem, I can't draw a straight line.
I once had an art teacher tell the class that if anyone in the class could draw a straight line they should not be there. LOL, but I didn't do too well in her class either.
Thanks for the kind words. I wish I had more time for it.

I'm not artistic by nature so I was surprised at the beginning that I was any good at this leather business. Only been messing with it right at a year.
If I thought I could make a living out of it I would, but I went back to college for a reason
