Default Holster too soft

I have two holsters that because of improper maintenance have become too soft and lost their boned configuration. Is there a way to restore these holsters? How would I remove some of the oil that has led to this condition?
Thanks,

I would contact the maker and see if they can do anything.

Soak it in side-by-side bath tubs? Throw it through a tire?

But for the OP, If you applied oil to them, I may be wrong but I would say wash it in saddle soap or clean them with rubbing alcohol. When the holster is formed or boned it's wet then, yes?

Then use only a paste wax like Kiwi shoe polish.

You may be able to remove some of the oil by liberally immersing the inside and outside in cat litter (new not used). It may soak up the oils.

Another method might be setting them in the sun, forcing the oils to surface and then the kitty litter treatment.

As mentioned above a liberal treatment of alcohol might do it as well.

Take it out for dinner first then rub it provacatively, it should stiffen up then.

Seriously, I had an old holster I bought that was soft and I was told to put the gun in it for a couple hours at a time, don't ask me why but it worked ok. I would try saddle soap to take some of the oil off.

I have reformed a couple buy soaking in warm water to get oils out then putting pistol in baggy then holster put between two sand bags and let dry just before all the way dry remove pistol so it can shrink just a little reapply oils if needed.

I had an old soft holster, I washed it in hot soapy water then dried it, when it was about 80% dry I put the gun in it and boned it with the butt end of a sharpie marker.

Tie them to the antenna of your car/truck, fill up the gas tank and drive at an incredible speed until they are nice and dry.
