Holster question....
Anyone familiar with this type of holster, probably circa 1905? The two loops extend through the leather backing, but if used on a belt, they would hold the gun horizontally. Could it be designed to attach to something on a saddle?

The two loops hold the holster together.
The gunbelt goes through the big loop.
