left handed holsters
So I bought a s&w m&p dark earth 9mm kit from cabellas. Problem is I'm left handed and of coarse the holster it came with is right handed. I've found several left handed holsters aside from the "universal" holsters. However I'm worried that I might buy one online and then it doesn't fit or its not actually left handed. Are there any other lefties out there that have found good holsters?

Any decent holster maker should make left-handed holsters. El Paso, Galco, Bianchi. And any of the custom makers.

I have mine all made by a holster maker to my specs. That way I get just what I want.

I got one from Triple K for my Model 27. Great holster. The downside is....it took nine weeks for me to get it.

Ouch, but I suppose if its a good holster than its worth the wait. I think I'm going to try one of the bigger cities around here. I live in a small farm town that isn't close to a city so I buy a lot of stuff online. Sometimes I hate being a lefty lol

i feel your pain but any legit holster maker online will have the option of left handed holsters. The M&P is pretty common too so it shouldn't be too hard. Kydex try BladeTec, or CompTac. Leather Galco, Lobo, too many to name really.
I too have the M&P and am a lefty, they are pretty sweet and you will find a good holster.

I'd go with oldflatfoot here on the forum, or Simply Rugged. Smaller, less production oriented, nice custom work, good guys. Downside: they're not plastic

Being left handed, and too tight to pay custom makers' prices, as well as not willing to wait months for a holster are reasons why I took up leatherwok as a hobby.
