Default UPDATED Rodek Leather belt...

I'm in the market for an inexpensive yet durable gun belt and ran across Rodek website.

Anyone have personal experience with these belts?

For $23.00 each, heck I'd buy two and still be ahead vs. some of the other big belt names.

Thanks.

Rec'd the belts in 5 days and am very impressed. I tried to show the thickness vs a Galco I've had for several years. They appear the same, but the galco is double thick.....it's much more flimsy than the Rodeks'.

I tried to pinch/fold over the belt with my thumb and index finger....ain't happening.

Looks good -let us know if you get your hands on one. Price is right and I'd be interested in the "Ranger" model

Just spoke to the owner, Mr. Rodek....very nice and answered all my questions.

Yes, they are gun belts and said I should have no problem carrying my heaviest CC gun, 681 4". He uses one piece of 9 to 10 oz. (9/64th to 10/64th of an inch) leather and has had no complaints, but if it's not up to my expectations, send back for a full refund.

I ordered 2, one black one brown...both 1.25" as he said they should be more than enough as some officers use the 1.25" with gun, cuffs, and ammo pouches. I'll just be carrying the gun.

It will probably take a week once he gets a personal check.

$53.00 for 2 belts, including shipping and a full refund if not satisified.

Will post pics /report when rec'd.

A single layer belt will not withstand daily carry of a full size handgun for very long. For that, a double layer belt, although more expensive, will outlast several single layer belts.

Understood, but I don't carry every day all day.
I'm just looking for something that I can wear to church, on weekends, etc.

Feel free to contact Mr. Rodek if you have any ?.
