Just finished a holster
Just got done with this. It's for a 4" n-frame. I'm pretty happy with it and thought you might like to see it.

Thanks everyone. Here's a picture of the gun. The "streak" on the grip in the original picture is a result of my "fine photography" skill.

The holster is darn good looking!!! I really like the color of the leather and the lacing. The revolver appeals to me, also. Good stuff.

Very nice job on the holster xray. I've done some lacing but don't really like doing it.
What kind of dye are you using, if you don't mind me asking?

Superb job, a very handsome holster!
Thanks! The lacing adds a lot of work and time (for me) to the project but I really like the look. I tend to lace nearly everything. I used Tandy Eco-Flo "Professional Waterstain" for the first time. I "lightened" medium brown and was satisfied with the results. I've seen some of your work, bamabiker, so I hold your opinion in high regard. Thanks for the compliment!

The holster looks great....and so does the revolver!!!
Your lacing makes me want to give it a try. I've always sewn my holsters, and have yet to try lacing.

Do you have a shop you sell out of? Vancouver ain't that far (used to have a place in Camas), and I make it to Portland on occasion. I'd love to stop by sometime!

No, I'm just a hobbyist primarily. My "shop" is a 3 1/2'x 7' table in my basement. I make things for friends and family for the most part. Every once in a while I make something I really don't need and sell it on the forum to help fund my hobby.
If you get down this way send me a pm and I'll buy you coffee or a beer but won't have much to look at.
