What is this, S&W holster acc.
Found this in my box of misc. stuff and cant figure out what this is for or whats it worth. S&W on back and marking B86

It's a drop pouch used by police back when they carried revolvers and was worn on a duty belt. The top flap is for inserting the cartridges, the bottom flap lets them drop into the users hand for quick reloading. They're not worth a lot, maybe $5-$10. They were pretty much obsolete by the time speed loaders became popular.

It saves me a lotta time when they're labeled "IN" on the top flap and "OUT" on the bottom flap.......

That's true, but then I would probably put it on the belt upside down.

The dump pouches are also exactly the right size to carry your Zippo lighter. I worked with a guy who carried an extra dump pouch just for such purpose!
