Default Department marked Holster

I recently found a holster by a local maker that must have been ordered by the PD.

In many years for chasing leather this is the second or third I have seen with departmental markings. It fits a model 19 and similar Smiths.

B.F. Smith & Sons Saddlery may be the oldest continuously operated leather shop in Arkansas. The business started in 1880 in Sheridan, Arkansas and moved to Wright Avenue in Little Rock in 1929. In 1946 it was relocated to Broadway Ave. in North Little Rock, and in 2005 to Floral, Arkansas.

They are on Hwy 167 now just north of Pleasant Plains. I haven't visited their shop but plan to , maybe today;-)
Thanks for the reminder.

Nice holster with a great mark.
I think there are even less in tan or brown.

I don't see many either. This one also fits a 4" target
sighted K frame.
Stamped APD which I'm assuming is
Albuquerque Police Dept. as that's where it was
made.

John if you find any Brills or Myres that you don't need over there just go ahead and pick them up and you can drop them off in LR on your way home.:-)
