Default Another vintage holster.........

the postman brought this one today. It is from Selzig Saddlery of Houston, Texas, a bit unusual in that it is for a 4 inch N frame. The majority of the vintage revolver holsters I run on to are K frame or for Colt DAs.

Some old holsters have no markings, some have a lot.

The GPD, Quien Sabe Galveston, Gladewater, Gilmer? 3844 for $4.50 back then.

I thought it was a "Stelzio". Looks a lot better all cleaned up.

Bobby it was rough when it came out of the pkg but some of that Blackrock helped it along. That 3844 stamping got my interest.

Lawandorder.....top line rig.
Stelzigs was in Downtown Houston and was a top quality saddlemaker along with custom boots.
Half of HPD would dump thier issued leather and get a lined, swivel holster
from Stelzigs.
Many plainclothes Dets had rigs made and I suspect yours maybe one of those.
They bring good bucks in Texas.
