Default Border Tooled Holster For A Classic Sixgun

I made this for a 5 1/2" colt New Service .45 Colt. It has my nickel Colt in here but now carries a blued 1929 gun. The buyer chose the holster style, tooling pattern, and color tone based on continual emails back and forth. The toe is stitched to the backskirt. I look at this as a transitional holster made to fit a D.A. Colt yet has a western look, too. The oiled color was done to match a belt buyer already had.

Thank you, folks. And, raljr1, I've been making these for members of this forum and other ones for a few years, but only for older sixguns and an occasional 1911. I started when I was a kid. Most are floral tooled like the picture below, or sometime basketweave. (These shameless plugs get me more work!)

Here's a 4" N-frame holster...

And for a K-22. Note that this basketweave holster has the enclosed trigger guard as opposed to the 8" Colt Trooper basketweave above with the exposed trigger guard.
