Is anyone familiar with this outfit? How is the quality compared to let's say Milt Sparks ,Kramer or other custom makers?

I considering getting the Summer Cruiser IWB model. Any thoughts? opinions?

I carry either a Glock 32 or a Sig 229 in an El Paso snap on elite every day. I have tried some other models from them; they are okay, not custom, not Safariland either. Do mot get anything but boned finish, the basketweave and fishscale models are not as stiff.

I've had a few EPS (currently a 77 & 88 OWB) and they're good.
Never had a Kramer but the MS seems better (maybe a little more attention to detail) but the price was higher.

I have been using El Paso Saddlery leather for many years. Sometimes they are a bit slow, but worth waiting for. They have a "fish scale" stamping that I really like and have a River Belt and several holsters to match it for various revolvers and my 1911.

I currently own 2 EPS Holsters. They work even better than I had hoped. So well, in fact, I have ordered a 3rd and am waiting the requisite 10-12 weeks.

Since you mentioned IWB, I will state that the MS VM2 is a very popular holster and for good reason. The wait time used to be 6 months. I haven't heard lately what it is.
But I will also say that based on my experience and what works for me, the Comp-Tac MTac (leather/kydex hybrid) seems almost as comfortable for less money and wait time. Even though comptac's prices have increased considerably since I last checked.
Inside Waistband Holsters -
Never tried the EPS IWB.

I picked up this el paso at a gunshow a eon ago. Its well made but I really havent wore it much. Seems when I carry that gun I use a old pancake. This one has a thong instead of a strap.

When my 629 rides on my hip it's in a Threepersons. Got it used but like new right here on the forum from a member. It's a great holster, definitely top quality. For my 1911 5" my number one choice is the Milt Sparks VMII (have owned one in the past, sold it foolishly to a good friend when I stopped carrying the 1911-now he's sold it so I can't buy it back sniff sniff).

You will expire before you wear out one of their lined belts or holsters. I've got a tooled belt that's banging on thirty years old and continues to look good, have acquired a couple of previously owned EPS holsters and good cleaning makes them look like new. Of course anything can be abused, but with a little care it's amazing the quality of of a EPS product. I presume they still have a store front in El Paso, if by chance you ever get to visit leave your wallet in the trunk.

I'd say much better than Kramer. Not as thin as Mitch Rosen, if ya know him. Quality stuff, traditional styling. I think the traditional styling is the point with El Paso, so while they are a quality outfit, not sure if they would be my choice for IWB. I mean, their stuff is a beauty to behold, but IWB is not gonna get much beholding...

They will not do custom work ! What you see is what you can order.

The Milt Sparks Summer Special sets the bar for IWB holsters.

El Paso Saddlery holsters are very good quality but have never used or examined one of their IWBs.

I have a number of El Paso holsters including a #88 Street Combat for a 4.25" 1911, a Tom Threepersons for a 4" N frame, a #5 Patton holster for a SAA, and a 1930 Austin holster for a 5" 1911. I haven't used any of their IWB holsters, but to my eye, the Summer Cruiser is the same type of holster as the MS Summer Special. Pick which one you can get first for the least cost and I don't think you'll be disappointed, whichever one you choose.

I have a half dozen EPS holsters (Tom Threepersons style). My BBQ rigs are western tooled Threepersons, back-died for my Colt Python and 2 of my Colt SAAs (A Bisley and a SAA, both nickel and both in 41 long Colt). I also have a couple of western-style shoulder holsters for SAA and a pancake style for a S & W model 39-2.

My hunting rig is a John Wayne belt (reversed) with a cross-draw Threepersons holster for my OM (three screw) Blackhawk in 45 "long" Colt or OM 41 Mag.

My latest BBQ rig came on 12/26-day after Christmas. With floral carving, wait was about 7-8 weeks==earlier than promised.

Pricey?? Yeah, but you get what you pay for. Their field holsters (what I have experience with) are second to none!

I have 4 or 5 of their holsters; all Tom Threepersons, for everything from a S&W M 39 to a Ruger Security Six (Tom Threepersons cross draw). Like them all; the crossdraw has probably been on my belt for 200 miles or so in the desert over the years. I like their basketweave, but have never tried their fishscale pattern.

I'm wearing one of their belts now.

Extremely well made and very durable.
Used to think that they were kind of expensive, but not any more.
No experience with the IWB products, but the OWB are tops.

Second to none in my experience.

I bought the E.P.S. IWB "Summer Cruiser" for my Glock 19/32. I agree. I was underwhelmed by my Kramer IWB. Rosen & especially Sparks set the bar pretty high in this market. There are others that I really like anything by (Ryan Grizzle or Gary Brommeland). ROG Holsters (Richard Olsen -Needville TX) makes a great holster at a great price too.
