What was the make and model of the holster Steve McQueen wore in The Magnificent Seven? I have always thought it was different from any I have ever seen.

That kind of placement and angle always made more sence to me than a "forward cant" back on the hip. JMO.

Steve McQueen is missed....I never saw a McQueen movie I didn't like. He liked good leather wear, and motorcycle's how can that not be good...
