Lookin' good Lee. The Austin is one of my favorite styles and I don't even have ONE.

I'm curious...how wide is the belt? Reason I ask is because it looks sort of thin...maybe 1.5-inches wide? Or less? How does it do supporting a good size holster and a heavy gun...any sag or stretching? I looked at Los Vaqueros' website which was last updated in 2013. Are they still in business? Great photo, by the way! I may have to "borrow" that idea from you.

Doesn't look like a gunbelt to me. I have a dress belt that looks just like it. Would definitely not support the gun and holster shown, but then the op doesn't say the belt is used for that purpose.

Mr Fat Tom nailed it. That is a dress belt. I use it because it looks so nice with that holster, which I bought many years ago for Rodeo Days. It was new in the package, but had a lighter finish. Subsequent to purchasing it, I dyed and sealed it myself to match the belt, so I don't know if the original maker is still in business.
Despite only being a little less than one and a quarter inches wide, the belt is five sixteenths of an inch thick and surprisingly rigid. Stiff enough in fact that I only wear it occasionally because it is not as comfortable as a regular belt. That said, it is very comfortable for me when I need something to support a full sized, stainless 1911, like the one in the picture.
It mostly gets worn for the Tucson Rodeo which means only about six hours at a time. That may not be a fair test. Usually, I am not much of an open carry guy, being old and slow and wanting the advantage of surprise. So, I wouldn't take my opinion as having much value.
The Tucson Rodeo just brings out the kid in most of us.
I really need a nice engraved Colt Single Action Army revolver to complete the fantasy, but that "ain't gonna happen in my lifetime". So, this full sized, stainless 1911 will have to do.
Thanks for the kind words and the likes. Please feel free to borrow the concept or picture. I would feel honored.
