3913LS Shoulder Holster Help
I'm looking for a leather shoulder holster for a 3913LS. I can't seem to find anything on the Bianchi, Desantis or Galco websites that fit.
Anyone have any experience with off the shelf shoulder holsters for the LS?
Thanks.

I used a Galco rig for a S&W 469/669 for my old 3913, I do not recall the model number.

Shoulder holsters are best left to movies.
They are miserable devices: unpleasant to wear and trouble to use.
Find a belt holster instead.
Just my opinion, of course.

Rpg,
I would respectfully disagree about leaving it to the movies...I use a shoulder a lot when I am driving and do NOT find it uncomfortable in any manner. Doesn't interfere with the seat belt like my IWB/OWB..
To the OP...3913's usually fit VERY well into Sig 239 holsters....for what it is worth....

Thanks for the replies. The issue in my mind is the slanted dust cover of the 3913LS. It's just not the same profile as the Smiths you guys are talking about. At least I think so. Will the LS still fit?

The slanted dust cover is the major difference with the LS version. Closely formed holsters for the standard 3913 will not accept the LS.
While there are quite a few of the LS pistols out there, these were a relatively small part of total production. Most of the larger holster making companies tend to concentrate their production on the most popular models, leaving the owners of less common pieces with little to choose from.
Another element that comes into play is the fact that "dummy guns" are usually made only for current production handgun models that have achieved a large market share (and most handguns are never offered as dummies). This leaves the smaller holster makers (like me) only one alternative, and that is purchasing the actual handgun to use for patterning and forming holsters. That level of investment requires a significant and ongoing demand for holsters; it makes little sense to have several hundred dollars tied up in a pistol for a single holster order.
My shoulder holster design is offered for the 3913LS. It is shown on the website Lobo Gun Leather - Home.

The Bianchi X-15 was designed to be used with both revolvers and semi-auto pistols. It should accommodate your pistol with the slanted dust cover.
The second and third holsters from the left on the top row are Bianchi X-15 holsters. I mostly use the third one, which has no retention strap. I would sell #2, $100.00 + shipping.
Be advised, shoulder holsters are a poor choice for barrel chested or overweight people, as the design makes it difficult to use. If your life may depend on a quick draw, I would choose something faster, or better yet, stay home. Shoulder holsters can be difficult to dress around and squeaky when attached to the belt.

Thanks again folks for the fitment info. As far as shoulder holsters go, I understand the disadvantages, but am looking for something to use while driving (sitting). I hope I can figure it all out so there's not a $150 accessory sitting in a box. Maybe a piece of Velcro on the slide and on the dashboard.

Do take a look at Lobo's home page for his shoulder holster...indeed it is well thought out and even uses a horizontal carry for the magazines.
Most manufacturers have the mag pouch vertical and unless you have really long arms...getting the magazines out is quite problematic.
Horizontal carry however is a non-issue....which tells ME that Ray has either used a shoulder holster or has listened to those that do.
I can assure you that in purchasing his shoulder holster you will have a very well fitted to the gun holster for one and after some adjusting on the harness you will find a rig that is actually quite comfortable especially when driving which is where I usually use mine.
Again, you will not regret this as an investment!

Shoulder Holsters are not the best way to carry a gun every day IMHO.....but....... for me they are great for winter wear under a coat when walking in "Penn's Woods"....... it takes a while to get to my IWB at 4-5 o'clock on a cold day in Jan. in Pa.....LOL

I will make the OP the same offer I made another member a month or so ago. I will send you the holster, wear it a week and see if you like it, at the end of the week either mail me a check or return the holster to me as you received it.
Feel free to adjust it to fit you, but do not fold, bend, mutilate or deface it in any way.
