Excellent work, that holster is beautiful and will function well to help distribute the weight of that "boat anchor." What type and caliber is that hand cannon, a Thompson Center?

Very cool holster! I could use something like that for my 617, lol.
I would love to see a pic of your neighbor modeling that rig, if he/she isn't too camera shy.

A boat anchor it is. It's a .410 Super Comanche made in Argentina.

Holster delivered and as requested, here's my neighbor proudly modeling it.
It still needs a bit of fine tuning on fit adjustment.

Good looking rig but he doesn't look like he needs a gun.

I GUESS I WAS WRONG.
Your neighbor isn't Ned Buntline. Very nice work. Very few shoemakers around anymore that will sew 2 pieces of leather together for under 20$ and a 2 week wait. I miss my cobbler/leather guy from back home, he rarely charged me unless it took him a while to do something.

Good looking craftsmanship snubby. On any other sized model, that cannon would cover the whole chest.
Glad to see your neighbor has kept his "pet rock" all these years,...and my, it sure has grown.

I'm thinking he could only conceal that beneath a full football uniform, pads and all. Might even get a few calls to go his way in the process....

Very nice looking rig. I was wondering how your neighbor was going to draw the piece, but then figured out he probably used the holster to let the bear/bad guy, etc., draw the piece so that they might have a fair chance against him. I don't think I would want to make your neighbor unhappy. By the way, I really like the holster you made. Very nice work.
Regards,
Dave
