Default 3913 Holster Help!

Hi guys,
Need help finding a holster for my 3913. I would like OWB and need it to be very concealable. I have a UBG IWB on order, so that is taken care of. Now I need a OWB. I have tried contacting FIST holsters and have been unable to get in touch with them. Any suggestions? I would like something other than Kramer, they are very expensive and would prefer not to go that route.

Most holsters for a Sig P228 fit the S&W 3913/3914 models that do not have the slanted dust cover.

also sig 239 holsters fit like they were mad for it. 3913 holsters are relatively easy to find even here in rural Montana.

Kramer leather makes holsters for the 3919.

Sorry, I should read the original posts better.

I had one made to fit my 3914 by D.M. Bullard in Azle Texas. Works very well and I also have the same holster to fit the 1911. It's worth a look.

The DeSantis #002 N9 fits both my 3913 with the sloped dust cover and 3914 with the straight dust cover.
I've found that Optics Planet online has a good selection and prices.

The crazy thing is that the DeSantis fits the Glock 19, 17, PPS, LC9, SR22 and Walther PK380 reasonably well, too!

Holsters for the shield also work with the 908s & 3913. I carry my 908s in a leaher holster made for a shield, I've also tried my 908s & 3913 in the leather kydex hybrid holters for the shield and both lock in place just like the shield. Shield holsters are also pretty easy to find compared some of the other options.

Thanks guys. Around here though, not too many LGS sell holsters. Maybe a few for glocks. I guess I have more options since the P239 holster will work. Thanks again.

BU1, I have a "The snap" from sideguard holsters I purchased for my 6906. The 3913 fits perfectly, but the holster is quite "******". (My opinion only) I also have a Lobo leather model 1 pancake, but that does not conceal at all and snags when I draw the gun, so it is unusable. Think I will go ahead with the Rodek Leather. Thanks.

SirG....I've been thinking about Rodek holsters for a couple of mine - a S&W revolver and a 1911. Be sure an post a review/your impressions. Thanks.

Here are 2 holsters Rodek has made for me.

The S&W 63 holster has probably had the hardest use. I carry it when hunting and it's exposed to all the weather, rain, snow, briars, fence posts and brush. There's a small indent near a belt slot. I got it when climbing a fence, the fence gave way and I fell into a fence post. The holster took my full weight against the post. It didn't cut the leather, just made a mark. It definitely protected the gun and probably saved me from getting stuck in the side by a fence post but other than the small indent the holster came thru it fine. Ed made that one for me in the mid-1990s. It's still like new today.
The Glock holster Ed made for me in 1999. I carried it everyday in plain clothes and off duty. It's been worn a lot but not exposed to the weather and elements like the S&W 63 holster. The Glock holster also is a stiff and holds the shape like the day I got it.
Ed has made a boat load of holsters for our guys over the years. Ed's repeat customers are for holsters for a different gun, not because they wore out their first holster. You won't believe how thick leather Ed uses. You can't tell that in the pictures but you can see the stitching. Ed uses very tight stitches and notice they are perfectly spaced.
I prefer Ed's mahogany basketweave which is like the Glock holser. The S&W 63 is tan basketweave.
If you want something other than what's shown on Ed's webpage then ask him. If he can do something like what you want then he'll tell you. Ed won't pull any punches. If he says he can do something then he'll do it. If he doesn't think he can then he'll tell you that too. Unlike most holster makers Ed does this as a hobby. Others are doing it to make a living.
Here's a flyer Ed use to put out for our guys with examples of some of his work.

He made a really nice set up which I particularly liked in mahogany basketweave of all matching belt, holster, mag pouch, and handcuff case. He had a rectangle brass outlined belt buckle that he would insert a matching leather piece. Really nice set.

He's made holsters for others on this forum. I don't know how many S&W 63 holsters he's made. He borrowed my 63 numerous times to use as a mould. He also made a bunch of AMT 45 backup holsters for guys on here.

ISPCAPT, I saw your post on another thread. I like the glock one, but wonder if he can make it without the thumbsnap. I emailed already with the question. Very nice. If he can make it, he will have quite a big order from me. Thank you for your reply.

ISPCAPT, emailed with Ed. He does not do the pancake without the thumb break. Ok, still looking. Is Kramer basically the only option? Can anyone confirm that the Sig P228 or P239 holsters work for the 3913?

I can confirm that the S&W Shield holsters will fit a 3913 like it was made for it, in both leather and hybrid leather-kydex holsters. I have no experiance with the 239 or 228 holsters.

I would not have mentioned the 239 holsters fitting if they did NOT fit....I carry a 3913 daily and it rides in a Kramer #2 holster that is for a 239...

Randy

PS. If your Lobo holster is useless I will be happy to take it off your hands.
