I am looking for a holster that can be worn strong side or cross draw such as a bianchi 111 cyclone holster for my m0del 29 3inch barrel. Problem is bianchu only make a 4inch and longer holster and I would like a version tht is 3 inches s is my revolver. Any suggestions? strong side and cross draw is important.

Either Ray at Lobo Gun Leather or Rob at Simply Rugged can set you up. I have several Bianchis, 111s and 5bls, and ive come to appreciate a pancake a bit more than those styles.

Most of the major manufacturers concentrate their product line on the most popular and most common handguns in current production. 3" N-frame revolvers are not all that common, so finding holsters made specifically for them can be difficult.

Left-handed people comprise only a small percentage of the population, so they can also have some difficulty finding holsters for the same reason.

I own a 3" Model 629 so making holsters is not a problem (and left-handed holsters require only reversing the patterns).
