Default got lucky today, nice I frame leather

fellow said he had a nice, molded, Italian, old world leather holster, that he had picked up some where for his J frame 649.

he stated that the 649 did not fit it, so he asked if i would like to have it.

HMMM?, nice leather that was to small for a J frame, Could it be a I frame holster?

,fits my round site terrier perfect,

while i did not have anything but a uncle mikes nylon rig,i now have a bbq grade rig for the little terrier

hope this proves it , very late round sight terrier circa 1951, old world leather,
case stag handled copperhead/vietnam circa 1979, custom built stag body ( deer antler off lonesome hollow 2013) pen circa 2014, and a 1972 silver dollar with a 1925 stone mountain half

now if i could find some stag I frame grips ( might see if the guy who built the pen could build me a set) i woud be sure enought BBQ ready

I found some stag grips for my J frame right here on this forum. Keep looking and post a WTB and someone will respond.

Well, OF COURSE the M-649 didn't fit! This is a holster designed for conventional hammered guns!

I have one, used with a Model 60, and it is pretty good quality, although that ad about the Italian leather was partially hype. I sure wouldn't buy one of these instead of a Bianchi or El Paso rig. But if it's there and fits your gun, it isn't a bad piece to have.

You may know that Buffalo Bore now makes some pretty hot .38 S&W ammo for your Terrier? But I can't say whether it shoots to the sights.
