Heiser 457
I just got this @ $34. Is that an OK price?
Is there any way to determine approximate year of manufacture?
With a little TLC, this could be very nice!
How did it rank quality wise in the Heiser line?
Best,
Charles

Any Heiser holster in that condition under $50 is a good deal. The more elaborate tooled holsters bring more and older more traditional western styles for Colt SAs are thru the roof.
All Heisers are quality built. Just my 2 cents worth.

Rub it down good with Blackrock. It will refresh the leather and give it protection both.

That model was known as the FBI model, it was introduced in the mid 1930's and was in the Heiser line until they went out of business.
I agree, a little Blackrock will do wonders.

Ordered the Blackrock this afternoon. Thanks for the suggestion. I have some other holsters that need it too.
