Check out A.E. Nelson they may have an "off the rack" solution for you. Otherwise, you may need to go with one of the custom makers.

Hanging rigs look cool but they don't support the gun very well. I have an Alessi Bodyguard and it works great with my airweight...tried one for my P7 and sold it...the gun kept banging around...find a nice vertical leather holster with a tie down for your belt...something like the bianchi x-15.

I, too have been looking for a shoulder holster for a 3" K frame. I have Bianchi 9R and 9R1 holsters for my J and K snubs and like them a lot. I've heard that Safariland made the Model 13 upside down holster for a 3", but I've never seen one. I prefer horizontal or upside down carry over vertical, but that's just what works for me. Good luck with your search.

Andrews Leather in Florida makes some of the finest stuff on the market. His Solo Rig is about $150. The Monarch Shoulder Holster about $100 more. Well worth checking out...

Also take a look at the Galco vertical style.

DeSantis Holster
DeSantis makes a nice shoulder holster. I believe they offer a 3" K-frame rig. If not, you could still use the 4" holster.

The Bianchi X-15 & X-2100 shoulder holsters work well.

The Bianchi Scorpio line has always been my favorite. Handgun on one side, mag pouch or revolver rounds carrier on the other. Interchangeable and ambidextrous. Kinda pricey, though . . .

Ive never bought from him before but have referred people to our fellow forum member Robbt who has lots of nice leather gear and grips in the classified section. Has a vintage shoulder holster for a 3 inch k frame.
F/S New Old Stock Righthand Brauer Bros. Suede Lined Shoulder Holster
for Smith & Wesson k frame Frame revolvers with 3 inch barrels.
A p;icture is below, my revolver is not for sale.
Asking $45 plus shipping and insurance.
Worth a look. 3 inch 13 was my first handgun. LOVE IT! - Joe

A buddy gave me a used Bianchi 9R for a 2.5" M19 many years ago. Mostly I've worn it when I anticipated being in the car for longer trips and wanted to be able to get at the gun while seated.
Works perfectly for my M19, but I was surprised to learn that my 3" M66 hangs there pretty good, too.

In 35+ years I've yet to find a comfortable Shoulder Holster and frankly I have given up trying a while ago. I sold all of mine.
