As promised I am letting you know what I think of the TT Gunleather verses the Milt Sparks SS2 and a hybrid leather Kydex of my own....
The gun I'm carrying is a S&W 1911 SC-E
For several weeks I've carried in the hybrid, then got the SS2 and carried several more weeks
And to cut to the chase my favorite by far is the TT Gunleather IWB.
First off the TT product is well made. It has great retention and a stay open mouth. The leather is excellent quality. The comfort and stability is nothing short of amazing. I don't know if it has something to do with the extra leather at the bottom rear of the holster or the ride height or the cant, but it's probably a combination of all three that made me fall in love with this holster from the very first moment I put it on... The gun rides snug to my body, perfectly snuggled to me as I walk, bend, sit and drive.
I'm using a 5.11 nylon belt that I prefer because it is stiff and allows me perfect adjustment for snugness. No belt with holes can do that. I can adjust my belt 1/4" and notice a big difference in the way the gun is drawn to my side. My heavy Beltman belt never gets used for carry any more.
I know holsters fit everyone differently, but I may have found the perfect one for me, at least for this gun....
