Default Hoffners Holster Opinions

Recently received a used LH (look like Ultrux ITP Mirage) Hoffner holster for my model 64, 4" from a generous person on this board.

I live in Florida, so it's mostly shorts/t-shirt weather. Sometimes even in the 'winter'. I've carried j-frames in pocket holsters for many years. I'll continue to do that.

There are times when I would like to carry the k-frame in an IWB.

Any 1st hand experiences with Hoffners ...good or bad?

My only concern is that I'd like a snap. The gun is very tight in that holster, but it does ride high. Would anyone have concerns about the gun going askew in that config? I am tall and a bit wide. Just looking for opinions on whether an old-school snap is still necessary these days?

Thanks!
