Default A good woman's holster/handbag?

I need suggestions for a purse/handbag that functions well as a holster as well.

Ny wife is picky on looks (surprise!) and has these criteria:

No outside pockets
Blling kept to a minimum
Large (large as a purse, not just gun compartment size).
Leather
Open top or single overflap.
Either arm carry or convertible...no shoulder or cross body only.

My criteria:

Large enough and suitable for efficient access to her Glock 23.

Thanks in advance.

From what I have found when searching for my wife, almost all of the "concealed carry" purposes have a pistol pocket on the outside. As far as the inside, you probably will be looking at normal purses that have an interior pocket made of some sort of non-scratching material.

I would advise against purse carry though, as then your wife is limited in that she needs to be in contact with that purse at all times. Set it down at home or at a friend's or family member's house, and then you have curious kids/friends/etc that could potentially get a hold of that Glock

So with this in mind a woman or anyone can put their handgun in a paper bag and call it concealed carry? Doesn't seem right to me but what do I know I live in NJ. I would expect concealed carry to mean it's on your person and not in some easily taken or forgotten handbag.

She has a holster she uses most of the time, but her work 1.) Forbids her to have a gun (which we choose to ignore as her life tends to be more important than her job), and 2.) requires her to walk out of the retail establishment she manages with each day's deposit from the previous day, thus a purse/holster is a necessity for the days she is at work, i.e. 5 days a week.

my wife has started using this. draw is a little slower than we would like, but we feel it is a better option than a purse. she has carried with a tee-shirt and a blouse. can't tell that she is carrying at all.

other than a slow draw, our other complaint would be the cant. we would like it to have the grip tilted a little more towards the front, instead of vertical. this may help with a quicker draw too.

My daughter uses a purse from Gun toten mamas. http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&key...l_4usk60obw7_b

She carries a gp 100 3 inch revolver in it. She really likes the purse, she carries more than I do. She goes to work very early in the morning and feels very secure with the purse clutched to her side as she walks from vehicle into her place of business.
