Default Armslist holster find

For a very long time I have been wanting a Government 45APC flap holster. Not a "made in China" repo, but the real McCoy. Most are Korea time frame samples with the flap brass button in a worse for wear and starting to pull loose and way overpriced.
The "other day" I was on armslist (not sure why as I have never bought anything off that site) and found what I consider a once in a life time find. How about a Bucheimer Government issued 45 APC holster with a stamped build date of March 1963. Black, complete with leg tie- UNISSUED. Owner shipped it to me in the plastic bag that it was stored in. On the bag is the Federal Stock Number for the item.
Wrapped my Spingfield Armory 45 in wax paper for a few weeks to stretch it out a little and now it fits perfect. Couldn't be more pleased!

Nice score. You know someone will come along and say no pic no holster though.

It is with a saddened heart that I must admit that I do not enternet well enough to be able to post pictures! Years ago there was another gun website that posted a how to by following steps one through whatever. That was exactly what I needed. Opened up a photobucket account and was on my way- then photobucket changed the rules.
Half the pride of ownership is being able to share and (as you pointed out) photos would only increase the experience. Sorry.
