Default Affordable Leather

I'm looking for a very affordable holster for my M&P9c. It doesn't need to be that great of a scabbard; as I'll likely only wear it on training days.

I looked at BLACKHAWK & Fobus. But, from what I saw, both are made for a full length slide.

I've stumbled onto these:

Armadillo Holsters Made here in TX, but I prefer more full coverage rather than beltslide style.

TAGUA GUN LEATHER Leaning towards these because LGS has them; full coverage style & still affordable. Downside is they ain't made in USA.

Anyone had experience with either?

I have a Tagua leather pancake style for N frames, and it is not a bad holster. Its no El Paso Saddlery, but...It works well.

I would look at the Fobus paddle holsters, Cheap, and they do make a model for the 9c, I believe. I have several, and they work well for range use.

Fishinfool-Fobus was my 1st thought. It really fits the bill for the job I'm gonna be asking it to do. But I think they make 1 model for both the full size & compact. And if it is long enough for the full length slide, it will have a bit of "dead space" with my compact's short slide. IF I knew for sure the holster covered the compact, but left the full size sticking out (I think this looks like you got the wrong size holster/gun combo) I'd get it.

I like BLACKHAWK & this is what I have on my duty rig. But they have only the 1 size; which covers the full size slide. I almost got one & did the "Dremel Tool Thing" to eliminate the dead space.

The young-uns get a kick out of my usual classroom carry-a snubby in a basketweave Threepersons style.

I have a Fobus for a 1911. A full size slide will extend out the bottom an inch or so. The one you're looking at may be made the same way. Call them and ask.

High Noon makes outstanding "Economy" holsters IMO.
