Something a little fancy for the 'ol 1911
Got this the other day:

It is a substantial hunk of leather and looked better in person than I expected. I opted to forgo an O-ring retention snap as it looks rather tacky and is largely unnecessary. No cartwheels while wearing this one. I have a steel reinforced competition style leather range holster that I love, but it's simply painful to wear for more than an hour or two. This is just what I was looking for.
I told the wife I needed a purdy gun to go with it and the result was as expected.

Nothing beats leather and blued steel(especially a 1911).

Leather by KD out of Covington, LA.
His only online sales are on Etsy...so I joined.
Got this one from him as well:

They are solid, rigid holsters out of thick leather. The attention to detail is impressive.

I like 'em. The rear sight is a Harrison Retro...but same idea.
