New Brill style holster for L Frame/Python/ Ruger GP100
I made a 4" version of this for a Ruger GP100. The someone wanted one for a 6" Python. That was easy since I used a Python as the model for the Ruger holster. It works for an L frame S&W, too. That screw on the back is designed to keep the holster tight on the belt without having to move the loop up high. There is no screw inside the holster.

Very nice.
Were goin' for a two tone saddle tan look or is that just the way the leather took the dye?
Either way, it looks good.

That is just oil darkened in the sun, not dye. The loop looked like a match at first but I know what you mean. I also think it's too light but the buyer said it looked good in a pic I sent. but he ordered another requesting it darker which is a good idea. Sometimes leather can get real dark in the sun, like this early one I made for myself. It has black backgrown, but the brown is oil, not dye.
