Exclamation This is Not a Sales Forum

Traditionally, we have always allowed start-up businesses or designers/developers to discuss and promote new ventures or designs in the discussion forums.
We allow this for awhile so they can get a feel for the potential market and feedback on design and workmanship, etc, etc.

Examples that come to mind are Shooboy's hammer which he discussed in The Lounge or Smithing- I forget which, and his 15-22 specific tools in the 15-22 forum.
Other makers of 15-22 items were allowed to get the word out in the 15-22 forum.
After the word is out and the venture gets going, we asked them to confine their promotion to the classified ads.

So, if you make holsters, we don't mind if you strut your stuff and announce that fact here in a thread or two.
After that, you need to take it to the ads.

If you've already posted more than twice here about the holsters you make, keep it in the ads.

An ad is an ad.
If you're commercially making a product, a thread about "My Latest Work" or "Just Finished a Whatever" is an ad, whether you specifically mention selling or not.
Put it in your ad.
I suggest not testing us on the point. We're asking politely.

The rules for this board clearly state:
