Default Odd SD Meyers

Not sure what model this is but I thought it was cool. It's definitely S.D.Meyers it's sorta threepersons shape with the exposed trigger, but it's snap off cross draw with a mini flap over the hammer. I acquired it out of a box of holsters my Dad got from a friends wife after he passed away a couple of years ago.
Just curious if anyone could put a name to it.

sorry they are a little big and the second one is upside down. I lost the program I used to resize with.

Looks like a copy of a Lawrence half flap. Made for wandering around in the brush!

Indeed it is a replica of the Lawrence. The maker's mark indicates it to be what we think of as a 'late' Myres (no 'TEX') and I have seen some very off-the-wall Myres holsters with that marking, and all of them black (Seventies onwards holsters sold mostly in brown for civilian use). Examples: Myres marked Berns-Martin Speed Holster, and stylish half breed shoulder holster, both in well-preserved black floral.

This confluence of atypical styles with well-preserved black finishes; combined with the 'late' mark, and not knowing exactly when or why the mark was changed, makes me propose that these are not very old at all, in terms of Myres history, which ended around 1978.

The answer will turn up!
