Hello,
I am looking for a holster for a 686 pro plus revolver outfitted with a Burris FF3 red dot. There seems to be a lot of holsters for a 686, but I can't find one that will accomidate the red dot.

Also need recommendations on pouches for at least 2 loaded moon clips.

I will be carrying the weapon as my sidearm while hunting, fishing, and goofing around on ATVs/MB/other toys in the back country. So protection as well as securely holding the weapon is critical.

A "tanker" style holster might be just the thing you need. El Paso Saddlery makes 'em for most any type of handgun, but not sure whether they'd do one with a cutout for your red dot. There are always several on ebay, including surplus GI versions and copies. Maybe you could find one at a decent price that could be modified to fit your need....

I did talk to them, thanks. They have asked for pictures if the gun along with measurements. They were pretty optimistic about being able to do it. My going in thought was to do some kind of belt holster, but this tanker version looks like it makes a lot more sense especially riding in the woods, or stream fishing. Thanks again...great answer
