The running W brand is the trademark for the King Ranch. I think that they still hold the record for most acres under their brand.
Very nice Tony. Where did ya drag that one up? Color me jealous

Yup, we both have been super busy since we returned. I have some news to share as well as Randy.
I guess that I need to get the photo set-up out and running.

First 'live' one I've seen. Knew that some of the bigger outfits often had 'saddle shops' and turned out more than saddles. Back in the mid '60's before I sold off my horse and saddle and joined Uncle Sam's little 'frakous', the saddle was made at the old 101 ranch shop. rumor was they made other leather gear, including Mexican 'loop' holsters. Never saw one.

Revolver-time they still operate a "leather" retail store in Kingsville but don't know if they do holsters anymore.

Yeah, they still have a store with its own web site:
Western Saddles - King Ranch Saddle Shop
But they don't seem to have any holsters any more. Still have belts, and saddles (although I see they don't list prices on them).
Part of the "gentrification" of Texas, I suppose. No offense to my Texan friends on this board, but all you have to do is see this thread Evacuate the neighborhood, 75 rds found. where the folks go crazy because of a few rounds of ammunition found under some guys porch, and evacuate the neighborhood, and bring in the BOMB SQUAD, to see which way the wind is blowing.
