Default M&P9c with Thumb Safety

Hello all. Here is yet another "help me find a holster" thread. Somebody here was kind enough to compile a list of holster makers, which I will begin researching. My hope in this thread is to find someone with experience in looking for the same things I am.

I have an M&P9c with thumb safety. I want an IWB holster with a sweat shield that will accommodate the safety. I also want to be able to arm/disarm easily while seated. Hybrid holsters with two belt clips look comfy, and many will accommodate the thumb safety, but I imagine they are cumbersome to take on and off. I am looking for a forward cant, and preferably adjustable ride height.

I am currently using a Desantis Inside Heat, and while it gets the job done, it lacks in a few areas. It is a bit bulky, and lacks a forward cant. There is no sweat shield. I can easily put it on and off while seated without removing the gun, and it is a decent holster in every regard.

I am not opposed to leather or Kydex. I've never used the latter, but would. I thought I'd found a winner in On Your Six Designs, but they don't have a model of my gun with the thumb safety, which seems to often be the case.

How often do you plant to take it on and off? It's only 2 clips, takes about 3 seconds to take off. To put on it takes longer maybe 30 seconds to a min if you need to undo your pants.

Sweat shied and ease of access to the safety don't coexist as far as I know. Usually you disarm the safety when unholstering so the gun is already in your hand and at least partially out of the holster. Otherwise the safety is up against the sweat shield and eventually makes its own indentation there

I disarm/re-arm while seated once per day during the work week. The weekends and other times are variable. So not a ton of time is spent, I just like it to be easy. Maybe I'll find a hybrid I can try first. With my current holster, no major pants undoing is necessary. I don't need the belt to hold my pants up, so I just leave it at the notch that accommodates the holster.

I'd go for a leather sweat shield and let the safety break it in through use if I find one that otherwise fits my needs. For kydex, the sweat shield will have to be made for the safety, which I have not found yet. But you are correct, I don't need to manipulate the safety while holstered, just need a place for it to rest comfortably.

Currently considering one of the below. This style seems to be a hybrid hybrid... a cross between something like Alien Gear or Crossbreed, and a minimalist kydex holster. The Vedder has a few more features for a little more money.
