Those are possibly carcenogenic; they are certainly habit-forming. Ship them to me immediately in a tightly sealed mil-spec container along with some large-denomination US currency, and I will see that they are properly disposed of. No thanks necessary, just being helpful.

That's an early Heiser in very good condition, worth a pretty penny or two.
The Lawrence holster is a post-war holster made before 1963 for a 2" Military and Police revolver, worth probably $40-50.
The Hunter looks it was made for a 4" .22 auto, not worth much although a well made holster.
I'll check the Brauer Bros. number when I get home- the snaps indicate it was made in the 1940's or '50's.
Regards,
turnerriver

I believe the Brauer Brothers "Snap Off" Model is for a 6 inch Colt New Service.

To decode the earlier message....Penny = $100, two = $200. Or thats what they sell for around where I live. The black snaps generally are thought to be pre WWII. Try finding and using some Black Rock leather conditioner. It seems to make even ugly old holsters look good.

These looked a lot worse before I hit them with leather cleaner. Just dirty and grimy from decades of sitting.
And, when I mean decades I am talking 2-3 decades.

And don't forget to remove the verdigris!
Love the holsters, especially the Heiser.

Good eye on the Brauer Brothers holster. H-10 is the size code for a Colt Officers Model "New Model" meaning a Match, a 6" New Service and 6" S&W "Heavy Duty Frames" and the "NEW K Masterpiece Series". This is according to a c. 1954 catalog.
There is a faint number 3 and 1100 ink stamped on the Hunter holster. 1100 is the holster model number, 3 is the size code for High Standard 4 1/2" autos similar to the Sport King.

The fine Heiser doesn't appear to be for a Colt SAA to me because the bottom seems a little tight and I don't see an ejector housing imprint. But I'm sure no expert. Those Brauer Bros. snaps are really vibrant.
