Default A+ for my new Sideguard Holster

I have been wearing this Sideguard Minimalist holster for a week, both appendix and 4:00 carry. I ordered the strap as it is very versatile compared to the clip. With the tab slightly off center from the cylinder, it is very thin and easy on and off. Eric made it sized to fit any of my J-frame snubbies. Considering I ordered it with no reinforcing, I was pleasantly surprised at it's stiffness. All in all, it is a thing of beauty and thanks to those who suggested I order from Sideguard Holsters. The wait was well worth it.

I was thinking of ordering the quick clip. Now not sure. How long was the wait?

Thanks for the info. I'm going to be picking up a 640 beginning of July and have been trying to decide on an AIWB holster. Trying to decide between the clip and belt loop as well.

Obviously both will work. The snap loop just gives me the option of using it on occasion with a dress belt as opposed to the heavy gun belts I normally use. I have a couple of crocodile dress belts that I could see a metal clip doing a lot of damage while wearing. The leather loop is stitched on very securely and I can't imagine it ever giving me any trouble. This holster is built like a tank. One interesting thing, Eric does not use the "pull from the top" snaps so this goes on and snaps very easily.

I ordered mine the first week of Feb. and got it around May 20th.

As I said, for me, it was worth the wait.

Thanks for the report on your new Sideguard holster. I ordered a clip model for my 640 a few weeks ago so I guess I have at least two months to wait. Bill
