I found a nice condition HHHeiser holster, but can't figure out what it fits. I've tried searching and have come close to the holster style but the handwritten ID on the back has me stumped.

Back is stamped with HHH/Denver in oval.
Above oval is '11'
Under oval is '2425'
The hand impressed designation below that is: 'MT 4 1/2'

Nice brown leather, sewen closed bottom, safety strap w/ two snaps. Both snaps are the identicle brown enameled metal. Only one (higher up) is HHH marked.

A stitched border around the entire holster.
Adj sight block (leather) stitched into the inside front spine.

Seemed like a nice holster,,maybe for a 22auto of some sort?
One guess among the donut & coffee crowd of experts was for a Browning Medalist Target (MT).
As good a guess as I can come up with!

The stitching is because that model is smooth leather lined. They are built like a Mack truck- to last.
30-30 Remchester is correct, your holster was made for a Colt 4 1/2" Match Target pistol.
