Default Wright Leather Works

Anyone have experience with these guys?

I like their Predator holster.

Any feedback good or bad is appreciated.

High quality leather holsters that are very well made ..

I have the Cobra for my Beretta PX4 and it fits like a glove ..

Takes 8 weeks to get one but worth the long wait !! I'm going to get one for my Legion when I get the bucks ..

Garett Industries makes high quality Leather lined Kydex holsters another good maker of holster that are high in quality !! shorter wait time f about 2 weeks there ..

I have owned several over the years and currently have two. One for my Sig P227, and the other for my Sig M11-A1. They are very well built and break-in is minimal. Drawing and re-holstering is easy. They hold the weapons close and tight. Current wait time is the killer. I don't think you will be disappointed with the Predator model.
Here is one with my M11-A1.

So did anyone opt for the extra $60 "master package" that adds a lining?

Have two: a 1911 4" barrel and a Sig 938 w/laser, both Cruiser-tuck Master Collection. Great quality, snug retention. Can't say the Master Collection double leather is a deal-maker, but compared to the Simply Rugged unlined holsters I have, they seem to have better retention. Will report back in ten years or so once I've had a good baseline for comparison

Well, I went ahead and ordered the Predator in Walnut without the Master package.

8-10 week wait, I'll report on it when it gets here.

got the plain predator for my shield. really thick leather compared to some of my other custom leather holsters. holds up nicely, break-in was easy and relatively short time. carries the shield high and tight next to the body. I would recommend.

Have the predator for my LCR. So comfortable you find yourself feeling for it to make sure it's still there. If those type of holsters weren't so hard to put on and take off, it would be my 100% carry holster. When not using it, I carry AIWB for convenience.

Wright Leather Works is a first class operation. Their workmanship and quality are second to none. I have carried my Shield in one of their Predators for around two years and the fit and retention is still spot on. I liked mine so well I ordered another one for my 640-1. Thinking about ordering one for my 3913, which they recently added to their line. Their gun belts are 1/4" x 1 1/2" solid one piece bull hide and really support their holsters.

My next question was about the belts.

If you lose weight, will the re-trim the belt for you?

Not sure but they are designed to fit in the middle hole so you can take it up. I would think they would trim it for you. You could give them a call, they are really nice. The thing I like about their belts is they are a solid one piece of bull hide, not two pieces sewn together. I wear it with jeans and wear a Wilderness Instructor belt with the 5 rows of switching with cargo shorts. I find that one works as well as the other.

How much weight you planning to lose?

You could go to Tandy leather and pick up a leather hole punch and add new holes as the diameter goes down.

Even with trimming the end the result may not be what you want as the existing punched holes will still show and the end will need some sewing and a little dye, too.

Consider getting a little cheaper gun belt to begin with then after getting your waist to your goal pick up the quality belt with your new size as a reward to yourself. Save the bigger belt in case the new dimension doesn't hold.

So I just received my Predator Friday, wore it for the first time yesterday out and about running errands.

It totally conceals the gun. I mean, you cannot tell I'm toting at all. This is wearing shorts and a T-shirt in 90°+ weather. It is so comfortable I don't even know it is there.

Quality is AMAZING. It almost doesn't look real......it's that good. Seams, stitching and coloring are phenomenal. Probably the best I have ever seen. No kidding.

Plus they delivered ahead of the time they promised.

Yeah, I'm saving my money and buying more........SEVERAL more.

The quality to price ratio is insane! A holster this nice and of this level of quality should cost at least double what i paid. Seriously.

If you haven't checked these guys out do it. I can promise you will not be disappointed!!!!!

Default Wright Leather Holsters

I have several guns. I have boxes full of garbage holsters don't want to mention any names. I have a predator holster for everyone of my pistols, and have one on order for my new Baretta PX 4. They are the best holster that I have run across to date. They are like owning A Rolex they will last a life time. The master collection for $60 is worth every penny. Remember you get what you pay for. Give Brandon a call he is a true leather craftsman. Good luck hopes this helps.

Best Regards
Mark
