I have had this holster since the early 80's. It seems to be of fairly decent quality. I bought it for my High Standard (Flight King?), but I sold the gun and now use it for my Ruger MK. II 22 pistol. I was wondering what gun the holster is made to fit, and if anyone knows about this company.
You're right on the money, 79 is the size code for the Duramatic, Flight King & Sport King 4 1/2" .22 pistols. Viking made Browning brand holsters (I think ) and they made good middle of the road products, IMHO.
