I put a Burris Fast fire III with an Allchin mount on my 629 and love it, but I don't carry it (too big). I'd like to do the same with my 686SSR, which I do carry. Would anyone have a recommendation for a strong side holster? Right side.
For the L frame I would check with Safariland or Dillon. The dots are getting popular for the competition crowd and they may make one. If not call some of the more popular holster makers and ask about one. You might be surprised how a lot of their web sites are woefully out of date concerning new product. At worse buy a cheap Hunter type of holster and cut a slot into the front of the holster to fit. Good luck!
