Thank you, Road Rat.
I have tried the number you gave and heard the same female voice on the recording but no one calls me back to make the order. Have you ordered from them lately?

I thought about getting a gun belt and holster set from them, but got turned off by a number of negative reviews. A lot of people on the web complaining about long backorders and zero contact. I might suggest Lobo or Andrews Custom for all of your gun leather needs.

They were set up at a show in Las Vegas earlier this summer. I placed an order for a street combat holster for 2 1/2 in K frame S&W. Promised 2 week delivery took 17 days don't know about phone/email contact.

I have two El Paso holsters. I like them. Depending on which holster and which pistol you're looking for, Midwayusa.com stocks them.

I was in their shop in person earlier this summer. I got the nickel tour of the plant and stayed for a time to visit with their mgr and learn about the history of the shop.
They are good folks with a lot of miles in the saddle. They are increasingly busy as they now sell products far and wide thanks to Al Gore
Give them a chance, they have really great products. What was it you were looking to buy?

I like their holsters, have the tanker, the fancy shoulder holster for the government. I've tried twice on the phone this week and no answer, no reply. When I order a custom holster I don't care if it takes two months, only that it is a quality item.

I got a Cheyenne rig from them a few years ago for my Ruger Bisley Vaquero. It is very well made. I wear it over my boxer shorts as I run around the house with a broom for a horse singing "Yipee Aye A Ky Aye!"

I must apologize, I work out of state and being able to log in to purchase must of been blocked. So when I went and called a few times with no answer no reply, I thought there must be a problem and the folks at S&W would know. Well I just placed an order for a Yaqui slide with the El Paso folks on the webb at my humble home. I am thankful.

On the subject of E.P.S.: Today received my copy of Arms Gazette December 1976 (yes the Post really is that slow to Australia) which I bought for Bob McNellis' article titled El Paso Holsters. Bob, you'll all know, was (R.I.P.) the founder of the company that we call El Paso Saddlery today (incorp. 1978). And in his article, he also sets out that the original circa 1890s El Paso Saddlery went out of business in 1902. To that he adds that a former partner, W.H.Shelton, then formed the now-famous Shelton-Payne Arms. Co., which company is also known for its holsters of the non-threepersons style called the Border Loop. Eliminating any doubt: from the horse's mouth, the company of today is not related to the original company.

I had a pair of EPS holsters for SASS competition. The lining started to delaminate on one. EPS had a booth at a regional shoot. I asked if they could repair the holster. Guy said, "No, we don't mess with that" and gave me not one but two brand new holsters and let me keep the old ones. I'm a customer for life even if the wait is long for new stuff.

It has been my experience that you need to be very, very patient after placing an order, 8 weeks is not unusual. I have had best results contacting them by email.

I was hesitant to order from them due to the bad stories but I really wanted one.
Finally ordered an Austin for my 1911. Ordered the fancy vintage carving.
Got the notice they received my order and I settled in to patiently wait. Didn't hear anything else from them. Nothing.
Then one month to the day after ordering it showed up. Absolutely beautiful.
I will order more from them without hesitation.

That has been my experience with R.Grizzle, Sparks, Lobo and EPS. File an order receive a notification of order and wait. I'd rather have them bending leather than playing pen pal.
Only got skunked once on a holster deal and it was some "dude" one man shop in Alabama. That's what I get for ordering Kydex.
Just received a Grizzle rig waited 10 weeks. It was promised in 10 weeks and it showed up right on time.
