Default How do you choose sight unseen?

Looking for a cold weather owb holster for shield 45.

Have a few leather that I like, but looking for a kydex rig that will hold the weapon close to body.

Looked at Veeder, Raven, and Bravo....all basically look alike.
The Veeder seems to have very wide belt brackets for a rather thin
gun belt and looks like it may not be a snug unit but how do you
know without trying them........

Anyone with any of these three holster who can offer advise ...thanks

You don't. That's why many people have drawers full of holsters that didn't work out. Even reviews only mean that the owner finds it comfortable. You may not

If you don't like it, sell it

I can tell you that my Alien Gear IWB holster has retired every single EDC holster I own. I recommend their newest version, the Cloak Tuck 3.0. It is hands down the most comfortable and usable holster system I've ever worn. The company also makes easily replaceable and inexpensive finished kydex shells for many different guns that can allow your basic holster to be used with all of them easily. They also offer a two holster set, one the IWB mentioned above, and the other an OWB holster that looks like it would be a good choice. When you buy both, you get a price break over buying the two holsters separately. There is considerable adjustment for cant and carry height with these holsters in addition to the option for additional shells to fit different guns. Alien Gear has been a most excellent vendor, willing to answer questions and do whatever they can to make your experience with them and their holster products acceptable. I highly recommend them!

I have their own 3.0...I am looking for a new owb as I have their owb for a shield 9 and don't care for the way it rides on the belt
