Inside the waistband ???????
I had my doubts, I am carrying a few extra pounds and did not think it would be comfortable for me.
Then some one introduced me to Milt.
Sparks that is, picked up a used Summer Special for a Commander. By gosh it worked, it was very comfortable. I then stretched out to one of those for BHPs, same excellent results.
Today took the big step and tried one I ordered for a 3 inch K frame, surely a K frame revolver would not be comfortable. Well it was. Wore it all day and did not know it was there.
If I didn't have an old Null for J frames I would order another.

Not a fan of IWB
Great for you!
I, on the other hand, love carrying OWB for J-Frame. Yeah, I am heavy but lost 40lb this past year and STILL don't like IWB, even though I have a De Santos IWB holster. Love my Paddle as well as my shoulder holster (both Biachi). ..

Lawandorder, you've done everything right, including a well-thought out design of the holster -- and of the grips, too. The right shape on the grips, placed properly by the holster (the cylinder, too) completes the ergonomics of IWB (I'm expecting at about 4:00). I carried my Bulldog with Pachmayrs in that position, in a Bianchi Pistol Pocket that I made for myself (of course). Comfortable, undetectable.

I bought one. Didn't like it. Don't like the clips so close together. Prefer them spread out much further. Spreads out weight better and doesn't add more bulk.

The secret to comfortable IWB carry is the pants. Depending on the gun you are carrying, wear pants 1 to 2" larger in the waist than what you usually wear. All of a sudden there'll be too many comfortable IWB carry holsters out there to count.

+1
When carrying IWB it's not the holster that bothers me it's the tightness of the pants waistband.

I carry a 1911 on occasion and have Horseshoe Leather OWB that conceal very well. I also doubted the IWB carry for a 1911 but ordered a holster from Brigade Leather that was truly comfortable at the 4 o'clock. You do forget you are wearing it. Milt makes great holsters but I have not had one of his IWB holsters... yet.

Tony, you should have asked me a long time ago. I've got a drawer full of OWB holsters and a few IWBs. 99% of my daily holsters I actually use are IWBs when I use a holster. lots of times I just stick one inside the pants "Mexican" style. lee

Phil so far the only other one of their holsters I have tried is the PMK.
Also excellent plus.

I tried many holsters when carrying that way. I found that the suede IWB holsters from Safariland were the best and least expensive. They made magazine holders and cuff holders as well. They eventually molded to the shape of the firearm. Once I found them, I never bought any other holsters no matter which firearm I bought. They may not make these anymore, but other holster makers do. I did buy a custom kydex holster and magazine holder for my CS 45, used it only a few times. The best way to carry a firearm, I found, is the Bianchi fanny pack with secret holster. I have used it for years. I can carry the pistol, extra magazines, a badge, lightweight cuffs, and a flashlight. I take very good care of it as they are no longer made by Bianchi. I have yet to see another company make one as good as the Bianchi I have.

When buying a firearm or the accessories for it I try to purchase for quality not price as I value my old hide and my loved ones.
I can save $ on shoes, or food, or clothes, but not the stuff I trust my life with.

I'm glad you have found a combination that works well for you. I, too, find that I like IWB and with the right holster it works well.

I have a Sparks Summer Special for a 1911, and find it very comfortable. The close-set loops allow the holster to self-adjust whether you are standing or sitting. That's nice with a large pistol.
With a short-barreled revolver, I prefer the Sparks VM2. The wide back spreads the weight, and the widely spaced loops keeps the grip in the same place. I have holsters for a 3" K-frame (686) and N-frame (629).
There are a lot of nice pants with elastic joints in the waistband. This lets me buy pants that fit well, but expand when I'm carrying.

Just FYI Milt passed away back in 1995. I was honored to know him.
Tony Kanaly runs the outfit now along with Jim Wall, James, Nick, and
Brian. Last I knew of. Maybe more (or less) now. Milt trained Tony
well because the quality survived.
