Default New holster for an old Smith
I picked up my 5" 2nd Model Hand Ejector 44 Special today.
Not knowing much about holsters for vintage revolvers, how do I select a holster to fit my gun?
I'm looking for an OWB Leather like the Kramer MSP Paddle.
Is one N frame the same as any other for the purpose of holster selection?

I open to suggestions from anyone with an old Smith. This is just
to wear on my own land, not for going to town.

I bought this holster on Ebay for $12.00 cleaned it up and .....




look in the vintage leather holster section.

Ebay has been a bust for me but a pretty good deal for my shooting buddies. I been trying to find a nice holster for my 6.5" .44 Second Model and so far I have bought 6 rather plain holsters and have given all six away because they fit everybody's gun but mine . I'm about ready to give up on the idea of a vintage rig and just find someone to make me a nice NEW copy of an old design.
