Help with Holster Maker ID
The pictured holster has no numerical or alphabetical markings. Does anyone recognize the symbol on the brass snap? It looks like it is a holster?
If homemade it is extremely well done. Thanks for any help you can offer!

If no markings, it may be a limited production, or home made. I make holsters, and rarely mark my work.
It looks old but solid. If you plan on using it, maybe a good Kiwi clear wax will bring some of the luster back.
Thank you,

Not home made, and the machine sewing and construction date it to the turn of the last century. Unmarked holsters from that period (looks to be a First Model Triple Lock from that very time you have in it) are common and were made for retailers to re-sell. Sometimes called 'hardware store holsters'. The mark was a mailing address for repeat business -- S.D. Myres, El Paso, Tex for example -- and marked MAKER to so indicate.

Holster
Thanks for the feedback. The revolver is a 1905 M&P, 1st or 2nd Edition, which came in the holster. So turn of the century manufacture time frame is very likely.

Does not look like a proper fit for that revolver . Did you try an automatic in it ? Is your 1905 fitted in as far as it will go without forcing it ?

Yes, the 1905 fit in the holster is excellent. However, the barrel does stick out about an inch and a half.
